Building life cycle assessments are often undertaken as an additional component of capital expenditure forecasting or preparation of an asset register.

Life cycle assessments are intended to provide property owners with detailed information on the remaining service lives of the various components and service equipment used in the construction of their building.

We use a combination of published typical service life data and our own assessment of the item being considered (observed condition and maintenance regime) to form an opinion on its likely remaining service life.  The resulting schedule allows building owners to make informed long term capex budgeting decisions and manage life cycle replacement risks across their portfolios.
